Circle of Nonsense
Some days I'm happy, and the world is a wonderful
Cause kittens are adorable
And smiles cause euphoria
And chocolate is delicious
And I can hang my head out the car window
But, sometimes I remember the secret thoughts I'm not supposed to have
That everything dies
And the smiles are fake
And chocolate makes you fat
And people are watching and judging
However, nobody likes a downer...so I remind myself
That art is beautiful
And people are noble
And love is grand
And good will always prevail
Then, I laugh...cause those are all lies.
Cause art is meaningless
And all the nobles are dead
And love is a myth
And "good" is just the name of the winning team

Okay, it's the first poem I've written since high school...so don't make too much fun. And, please notice that it's SYMMETRICAL! ...I'll do better next time.
That was great! And not the least bit depressing! :)
jeez i thought could get depressing.
A little heavy, but who can fault the symmetry?
